Why We Started Alta Home Pros
Founded in 2025 by Derrick Altamirano, with over 5 years of specialized window and door installation experience, residential finish carpentry, and home remodeling across Idaho, Alta Home Pros was built to solve a fundamental problem: homeowners could rarely find dependable, skilled tradesmen for both everyday repairs and architectural replacements.
Unlicensed handymen would show up late, do sloppy work, and lack proper insurance. Meanwhile, high-pressure window replacement corporations quoted inflated markups with aggressive sales tactics, refusing to take on precision repairs or custom carpentry.
"Every homeowner deserves high craftsmanship quality, clean jobsites, certified EPA lead safety, and straightforward custom written quotes - whether installing architectural patio doors or tuning an entryway frame."
Alta Home Pros bridges that gap. We specialize in flagship architectural Window & Door Replacements (custom written quotes on premium Andersen & Pella lines) as well as comprehensive home repairs. Operating under Idaho Contractor Registration (Idaho Contractor Registration #3171065) backed by general liability coverage and individual EPA RRP Certified Renovator containment protocols, Derrick stands behind every project.
Arriving fully equipped with specialized finish carpentry tools, drop cloths, dust-containment systems, and hardware to complete your repair cleanly.
